Board approves appointment of Dr. Corby Martin to LPFA Endowed Chair in Nutrition at Pennington Biomedical Research Center

At its April meeting, the Louisiana Public Facilities Authority Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Dr. Corby K. Martin as the Louisiana Public Facilities Authority (LPFA) Endowed Chair in Nutrition at Pennington Biomedical Research Center.

LPFA’s connection to Pennington spans 38 years and more than $91.3 million in financing. The partnership began in 1988 when the Authority helped provide operating capital to open the research center and grew to include the 2001 contribution that established the LPFA Endowed Chair for Nutrition at Pennington. The Endowed Chair for Nutrition supports nationally recognized nutrition research in Louisiana.
